I took quite a hiatus from this photography blog but I have not been slacking on taking photos.

One thing that has kept me busy is our daughter Audriana who was born this June!

She brings great joy to our lives and is so much fun to photograph.

Jacob Dale

I snapped this photo today at a baby shower I went to.  This little guy is 8 months old and was army crawling across the tabletops.  Love those blue eyes!

Family Photo

This photo was actually taken a couple months ago when my brother and his family were out visiting.  Aren't they an adorable family?  More recent photos of my niece coming soon. 

Green Chicago River

This year we went to see the Chicago River dyed green.  It was fun!  They use this orange powder that turns to green when it hits the water.  Another boat then comes behind to stir it all up so this neon green color spreads throughout the river.  After they were done we walked along the river for a while and this group of kayaks come through.

Wireless Remote

Wow, it's been a while - sorry blog & readers.  Well, for Christmas (yes, it's been a really long while) one of my presents was a wireless shutter release remote for my camera.  I then took the following family photos during Christmas celebrations from my spot within the photos.  Yay - this was so, so much easier than setting the timer and running to get to my place in time.
